Budge partnered with Kids Code Jeunesse this past Fall 2018 in an inititative to get local Montreal kids coding!
During 3 stand alone sessions, families with kids aged 8-10 were invited into the office to learn introductory Python!
To set the stage for learning, we partnered with Kids Code Jeunesse, a local coding education foundation sponsoring the initiative "Mission Zero."
As part of Mission Zero, students write a simple Python program that will display a message on the International Space Station for 30 seconds.
To say the least, these kids are well on their way to being the next generation of Budge programmers....in 2029
These sessions were hosted as part of the internal employee program "Budge Gives Back," in which employees are given days throughout the year to engage and volunteer within their community.
